On September 10th and 11th, Mermaid is participating in the 24-hour rowing challenge run by Gotcha4Life. The charity is working in communities across the country on how to build better mental fitness.
The 24-hour rowing challenge is one of the charity's major fundraisers, but it is more than that. It is an opportunity for Mermaid Beach SLSC to join together for a common cause, start a discussion around mental health and grow our positive culture at our great club.
The challenge is to keep two rowing ergo machines running for 24 hours from midday September 10th to midday September the 11th. Even though this is a fundraiser, the aim is more about involvement with members and non-members, 10-year-olds up to 100-year-olds are all welcome. We are asking for you to join up and do your part to keep the rowers going by doing a 30-minute shift.
The link to book a spot is below via signup and you can join the 24-hour rowing team on the lower link if you wish to raise money or donate to the mermaid team.
